"Let all cats who are old enough gather under this... big stone?" Lionwing sighed at his leader's inability to speak the words StarClan had taught him. And even if StarClan hadn't, Lionwing himself had given Stonestar the rundown on how clan meetings worked. Quietly, the handful of BoulderClan cats gathered around the 'big stone'. Thorntooth sat near Lionwing despite the deputy's position above the warriors. Violetwish sat nearby with her tail curled around her paws, watching her leader eagerly. Shadowpaw, however, threw a mouse into the clearing and started chewing away, waiting for Stonestar to speak. Lionwing felt every muscle in his body shudder, wanting to go over and discipline the apprentice for not showing respect, but he stopped himself. The clan was a mess as it was; one apprentice making a mistake, albeit a rather rude one, wouldn't hurt. "Now, I've called you all here today for a clan meeting." Stonestar looked down at his deputy for reassurance, to which Lionwing only nodded.
"Are there rogues on the borders?" Violetwish piped up before the leader could continue, her eyes sparkling in the light.
"No, there aren't any rogues. I-" A squeak from Violetwish made Stonestar stop.
"Is it a food shortage? Is prey getting scarce?" Stonestar blinked in confusion, but Violetwish didn't stop. "Do we have a new member that we don't know about? Or are we moving to a new location? Will those cats be nice to us where we go? Will there even be cats? Or is RippleClan acting up? Dovestar always seemed suspicious. I bet they've been stealing our prey. Maybe that's why prey is scarce! Or-" Lionwing stepped down from his spot beside the leader and covered her mouth with his tail. He nodded to Stonestar to continue speaking.
"It's none of those things, Violetwish, but thank you for your input. I just wanted to tell you all that you're doing a great job in this clan and I hope you decide to stay here until StarClan decides it's your time." Stonestar spoke quickly and hopped off the 'big stone', walking back towards his den. A ripple of confusion washed over the clanmates below.
"Stonestar, that was a very pointless meeting. Are you sure there isn't anything you want to discuss that could improve the clan?" Lionwing asked, making his leader stop in his tracks. He turned around and shook his head, raising an eyebrow at his deputy. "Well, maybe we could name the stone you use to call the clan together. I don't think calling it 'big stone' is a very good idea." As Lionwing spoke, the leader jumped back onto the 'big stone'.
"Alright, does anyone have any ideas on what to call this point?" Stonestar looked down at his clanmates, all of which shook their heads in thought, aside from Shadowpaw who was finishing up her mouse. He looked towards the sky and saw a bird fly overhead, seemingly innocent, and deeply unaware of the danger of the cats below. "Pigeon Point." He mumbled to himself.
"Pardon, Stonestar?" Thorntooth spoke up, watching his leader with sharp eyes.
"Pigeon Point. That's what this stone will be called from now on. It has a nice ring to it."

It was the beginning of greenleaf, and Stonestar's eyes widened at the sight of the forest as he walked down the mountainside. Violetwish followed him, smiling. "This is beautiful." He mumbled under his breath, taking in the sights.
"It really is." was Violetwish's only reply. The two started running toward the forest, with the tall trees towering over their tiny bodies. It was just supposed to be a border patrol; nothing terribly exciting, but the two cats were ecstatic to be in such a beautiful location. Their paws barely touched the earth as they ran, breathing in the forest scents. Suddenly, Stonestar halted, catching the scent of something nearby. The two froze and hunched to the ground, ready to pounce if needed, though neither really knew how to hunt. It wasn't long before a mouse showed up, and the two cats landed on top of each other trying to catch it. The pair laughed and continued the patrol, until they reached the body of water. Stonestar sat, though the she-cat didn't, and instead padded around him, until she spoke.
"I was wondering if I could talk to you, away from the camp. That's why I agreed to the patrol." Violetwish's voice shook. The tom flicked his ear, gesturing for her to continue. "You see, I had a mate before coming to the clan and I never wanted to tell anyone because I'm a medicine cat now. I had kits with him, Stonestar. I was just..." Her voice trailed off for a brief moment. "I was just wondering if StarClan would shun me for that, you know? I know from Lionwing that medicine cats aren't supposed to have kits, or a mate." Her eyes welled up as she looked at her leader, hoping.
"I mean, it's not really my place to say, Violetwish. I know I'm your leader but I don't always know what StarClan wants from me. I don't know why I was even chosen to be a leader. Lionwing would do a much better job." His voice cracked and he paused, taking a breath. "I don't care that you've had a mate. I don't care if StarClan cares. You've been a great medicine cat to BoulderClan and I am proud to have you by my side." Stonestar gently touched the she-cat with his tail. "And if you ever wanted to step down to take a mate again, I would be fine with that."
The two cats headed back to the camp, smiling at not only greenleaf, but each other.
